All-on-X — The Full Fixed Implant Smile

All-on-X (also called All-on-4, All-on-6, etc.) is the top-tier solution for replacing a full arch of teeth. A complete
set of beautiful, custom teeth is permanently attached to just 4–6 implants anchored in your jawbone. These teeth don't come out at night, don't move when you eat, and look and feel just like natural teeth. Many patients receive a temporary set of teeth the same day as their implant surgery — walk in with no teeth, walk out with a smile! The final permanent set is made a few months later once everything heals. This is often called a hybrid prosthesis because it combines the strength of implants with a full arch of porcelain or acrylic teeth.

Risks:

• More complex maintenance (special floss threaders needed under the bridge)

Overdentures are a less expensive implant option if a fully fixed bridge isn't in the budget. For patients with very
little jawbone, pterygoid or zygomatic implants (see below!) can make All-on-X possible even without bone
